Tutoring

My job is a Chemistry tutor. That means I come into a room, sit down, and wait for someone to come in that needs help. Not a bad job. However, today everyone in the world decides that they're too smart for a tutor. Therefore I've been sitting in this small room for about two hours now staring at the wall and twittling my thumbs. Too make things worse the geniuses at maitenance decide that it is necessary to turn the heat up in the building full blast when it is 70 degrees outside, and this is one of those old buildings that have individual heating units in each room. It isn't too bad inside a big classroom, but the tutoring center room is about the size of a large grapefruit, which means it's around 2458 degrees in here, give or take 7. All this makes for an uncomfortable Daniel. Usually I would do homework, but I have none that I am able to do in here.

Finally I decide to use one of the incredibly slow computers in here to pass the time. I'm not sure what I intend to accomplish with this blog.....other than keep myself entertained. I guess I'll just write what comes into my head.

Pickled goat feet.

Whoa. Didn't see that coming. I still have about half an hour to sit in here. Still, not a single person comes into the room, save Colin, the other tutor working this hour. Normally I would talk to Colin to pass the time, but today he has some kind of report or something to do. So while he's working on that I sit in my chair, staring at the wall, twittling my thumbs, writing a blog.

Wait! Someone just came in! But they don't need help they're just studying. Darn. Well I think I've rambled for about as long as I can. Guess I'll stop writing and go back to my thumbs. *twittle, twittle*
